In the third title change of the night, AJ Styles defeated Ricochet to win the WWE United States Championship at WWE Extreme Rules.
In what was a really good match, Styles had to rely on help from fellow Club members Gallows and Anderson to interfere and allow him to nail a Styles Clash from the top rope to put Ricochet away.

This is Styles’ third reign with the US Title, with his most recent coming in the summer of 2017.
Ricochet had held the title for 22 days since winning it from Samoa Joe at the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view.
