It was his first appearance since April 19, and he came out on top against Cesar Bononi.
His injury came at a very bad time as he seemed to be heading towards a North American Championship match with Velveteen Dream.
Hopefully he returns to the title scene after TakeOver: Toronto II as he has been one of the developmental brand’s top stars in 2019.
