It is being reported by PWInsider that Ring of Honor and the National Wrestling Alliance have parted ways.
The decision was said to be amicable and there is still a possibility the promotions will work together again at some point in the future.
The main reason for the split is reportedly that NWA President Billy Corgan wants to put all his attention towards producing a weekly NWA standalone series later this year.
This means that NWA Champion Nick Aldis is no longer advertised for the Summer Supercard show. He was set to defend the title against a member of Villain Enterprises chosen by Marty Scurll.
On top of that, NWA VP Dave Lagana has also finished up the role he had for seven months as producer for ROH’s pre-tapes.
