What a lovely WWE reunion this is going to be. Shawn Spears (former Tye Dillinger) will go head to head with Cody Rhodes (formerly Cody Rhodes) at AEW All Out.
The match was made on this week’s episode of The Road To All Out on YouTube, and comes after Spears hit Cody with a brutal head-shot at AEW Fight for the Fallen in July.
The shot left Cody busted open requiring stitches, but Cody has since come out to say he suffered no long lasting damage.
Interestingly, during this episode of The Road To All Out, you can see “more blood and guts” written on a whiteboard in reference to Vince McMahon saying WWE would not be introducing “more blood and guts” on its product.
All Out will be the final AEW PPV before weekly TV starts on October 2 on TNT. Cody has also been advertised for the TNT debut in a match against Sammy Guevara.
Jon Moxley and a host of other stars have and will be announced for the TV debut in the coming weeks.
