When I watch wrestling with non-fans, a lot of them ask “what’s up with that guy’s chest?” when looking at Kofi Kingston.
Kofi does have an unusual formation of pectoral muscles, and many have suggested that he has pectus excavatum, or ‘concave chest’, as that often results in pectoral muscles looking like his.
He has now explained on Twitter that this is not the case:
Ah a fellow Sternumonian. So this is what I know:
A lot of people think that I have pectus excavatum, or ‘concave chest’. Not true. My sternum is not concave at all. Rather, my pectoral muscles connect from closer to the sides of my sternum, rather than the center of my sternum.— KOFI (@TrueKofi) August 16, 2019
Former WWE star Scott Steiner suffers from pectus excavatum, and it is thought that Chris jericho may be suffering from a similar issue.
To be honest, I just wish I had pecs.
