Seth Rollins has topped the prestigious annual PWI 500 list for the second time.
The list takes into account a wrestler’s achievements over a year and ranks them accordingly. Rollins has had an extremely strong year, winning the Universal Championship, Intercontinental Championship and Raw tag championships within the eligibility period, which ran between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019.
He last topped the list in 2015, the same year in which he famously cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania 31 to capture the WWE Championship.
Last year’s winner Kenny Omega came in at number 8 this year.
Speaking to PWI about the honour, Rollins said:
“As difficult as it can be, this is all I ever wanted — to be in this position, to be having this conversation with you — talking about being the absolute best wrestler on the entire planet. I don’t think there is a single part of me that would trade any second of it.”
