According to PWInsider, WWE has signed Randy Orton to a new long term deal. Rumors began to circulate backstage last night at WWE Raw and now PW Insider has confirmed this to be true.
The report stated Orton has signed a multi-year deal. They did not release any specifics regarding how many years or for what salary.
Orton is 39 and has a lot left in him, at least when he chooses to be interested. He had been teasing signing with AEW on social media.

Orton is known to be a bit of a troller on social media, but with recent circumstances and supposed morale in WWE, anything was possible with this one. However, Orton was clearly a priority for WWE.
As a 3rd generation superstar who has been a major player for WWE for many years, having Orton walk away was not something WWE would seem to be willing to do.
Orton inserted himself into the Rusev feud last night on Raw. Although, it was more of a chance to get Ricochet down to the ring.
Brock Lesnar is going to need someone to face after his story with Rey Mysterio is over. Randy seems like he could be a choice.
However, his forehead may not think it’s such a great idea. If you recall, Lesnar has opened Orton up the hard way in the past.
It would seem Orton would need to turn face in order for this to happen. If rumors are to be believed, that is a possibility.
Congratulations to Randy on what is sure to be a very lucrative contract.
