John Morrison and The Miz defeated The New Day to become the SmackDown Tag Team Champions. After the match, John Morrison spoke with WWE.com.
The win at Super ShowDown had Morrison feeling a bit sentimental. Apparently, he and Miz shared a moment after the match:
“You know what the best moment of my comeback since I’ve been back so far, was at the very end when you hugged me and said, ‘Welcome back, brother.’ It felt so real,”
It’s been 11 years since the duo last held the tag titles. Apparently, WWE went to Saudi in a time machine.
The Undertaker won the Tuwaiq Trophy. Brock Lesnar beat Ricochet. Goldberg is your new Universal Champion. John Cena is headlining SmackDown. Oh and don’t forget! Edge and Randy Orton are having one of the hottest feuds in WWE.
No wonder WrestleMania is called the GrandDaddy of them all. All these part-timers and returnees, especially Goldberg winning, has a few people upset.
