It was reported following the breath-taking clash at AEW Revolution last weekend that Kenny Omega had potentially suffered a broken hand. While the injury doesn’t appear to be as severe as originally believed, Omega is not yet cleared to return to the ring.
Omega missed this weekend’s episode of Dynamite, and it appears that he won’t be on next week’s episode either.
AEW confirmed over the weekend via Twitter that with Kenny Omega not cleared to compete for another one-two weeks, Hangman Page will have a find a mystery partner for his non-title tag team match on this week’s Dynamite.
On Wednesday night’s show, Page will team with a partner of his choice to take on former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and his Inner Circle stablemate Sammy Guevara.

This is certainly very interesting, and AEW could go several ways with this. They might have Darby Allin team with Page to take on Guevara and Jericho. This comes after he teamed with Jon Moxley to take on Chris and Sammy on this week’s show.
Alternatively, AEW could have either Lance Archer or Brodie Lee debut here and team with Hangman Page. However, I don’t feel that this is likely nor the right thing to do.
However, I think the person AEW will go for to team with Hangman Page on Dynamite is one of The Young Bucks. Page has had a difficult time with the duo as of late, so being forced to tag with them could make for an interesting story.
