WWE was scheduled to put on a live event from Madison Square Garden this Sunday. As you could expect, that event will not be happening. At least not right now.
The venue released a statement, announcing the show has been postponed. Here is the quote:
“The WWE live event scheduled for this Sunday, March 22 at Madison Square Garden has been postponed and rescheduled for Saturday, June 27. All original tickets will be honored for that event.”
The event was scheduled to feature a DX reunion of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Road Dogg. The show was also going to feature two championship matches. Rhea Ripley was set to defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair while the Kabuki Warriors were going to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
This is the latest event to be affected by the coronavirus. At this point, if the show is not called Raw, SmackDown, NXT, Dynamite, or WrestleMania, odds are it has been postponed or canceled.
