Lio Rush was one of the many people who lost their jobs with WWE on Black Wednesday. A number of those released have posted about their wrestling futures but Rush is not so certain.
He took to Twitter today to reveal that he may never wrestle again.

“I legitimately might not ever wrestle again.”
Rush had been on NXT prior to his release. He had a short run as NXT Cruiserweight Champion when he defeated Drew Gulak on October 9, 2019. His reign was not all that long as he dropped the title to Angel Garza on December 11.
Rush had been with WWE since 2017. After a brief run on NXT and 205Live, he joined forces with Bobby Lashley as a heel duo. Rush acted as Lashley’s hype-man and occasional punching bag in Lashley’s feud with Finn Balor.
After his alliance with Lashley ended he returned to NXT.
There is no word on what Rush will do next, other than possibly not wrestling again. He had previously worked for Ring of Honor and CZW before signing with WWE. From all of us here at WrestleTalk, we wish Rush all the best.
