It is being reported that in addition to the already previously known Matt Riddle, there are plans in place for more NXT stars to be called up by WWE.
As reported by Fightful Select, which is definitely worth subscribing to, some more callups are expected over the next month or so.
No names were revealed in the report, and it was also noted that no “firm plans” had been provided.
Riddle is set to appear in a pre-recorded vignette on tomorrow’s episode of SmackDown, following a loss to Timothy Thatcher in the NXT Fight Pit which looks to have been his sendoff from the brand.
He has appeared on a couple of main roster shows before, namely during the Survivor Series buildup and the Survivor Series match itself, and also in this year’s Royal Rumble, where he had about a minute to shine and was then eliminated by King Corbin.
Be sure to let us know on Twitter who you’d like to see from NXT join either Raw or SmackDown.
