This week on Monday Night Raw, Nia Jax went one-on-one with Kairi Sane. The match ended in a rather unfortunate fashion, as Sane collided with the ring steps, causing a nasty cut on her head. The finish of the match was heavily edited.
While Jax has come under fire for being reckless in the ring, with one WWE star claiming she should be “f*cking fired”, she has also come under fire from fans for a promo that cut before the match that has been deemed to be “racially insensitive”.
Moments before her match with Kairi Sane and 13 days before her Raw Women’s Championship bout with Asuka at Backlash, Nia Jax cut a promo on The Kabuki Warriors. However, there was one specific line in the promo that has upset some of those watching.

Some have claimed that Jax was mimicking Asuka and Sane’s Japenese accents, and have subsequently called her promo “racist”. You can see some of the reactions from Twitter below.

Some have also taken WWE to ask for scripting the line and not editing it out of the footage, especially considering the events that have taken place around the world and particularly America over the last week.
