Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho has said he sees a lot of potential in a current WWE NXT star, saying he should be moved to the main roster.
Speaking on his latest YouTube livestream, Jericho discussed Karrion Kross who looks set to be the next challenger for Keith Lee’s NXT Championship.
Chris Jericho said:
“Huge potential, he’s a mean-looking guy, great package him and Scarlett, they look great, great ring entrance. I think over time as he gets to become a better worker, he’s going to be very big in the WWE. They need to get him out of NXT. I think it would be better to just have him in the WWE. They got to build him up as they do but I think he’s going to be a big star.”
As noted, Kross looks primed to be challenging Keith Lee for the NXT Title at the next TakeOver which takes place on Saturday, August 22.
When Kross was finally let out of his IMPACT contract, there were rumours that both AEW and WWE were interested, and it’s clear to see why with his look and talent.
