You never know when or how a WWE storyline might start. In 2020, starting some beef on Twitter is one of the ways we’ve seen this happen before. Could we be seeing it again?
Maybe. Bayley and Sasha Banks were targets of a little jab from a WWE Hall Of Famer via Twitter today. Trish Stratus seemingly unprovoked posted this:
Thanks for your order @SashaBanksWWE & @itsBayleyWWE… and you’re welcome.
If you guys haven’t grabbed your greatest tag team pack yet, you can get one here: https://t.co/uxirxh0UEZ pic.twitter.com/dB2Rw1GjuI

While this could just be a little ploy to drum up some more orders for Trish and Lita’s action figures, maybe there’s more to it. The Golden Role Models are quickly running out teams to face on either SmackDown or Raw. It didn’t take long considering there are only two. One on each show.
Given how Vince loves to turn to older stars when ratings take a fall, it wouldn’t be all that surprising for him to get Lita and Trish back for another match.
Bayley, who loves a good back and forth via social media, didn’t miss her chance to reply. However, Bayley hasn’t been mixing up her pic game much lately:

Personally, I’m of the mindset this is most likely just a promotional tactic, but it would be nice to see the tag champs face someone other than Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.
What do you think? Would you like to see this match at SummerSlam? Let us know on Twitter.
