WWE has been wanting to try and get things back to normal for a while now. It has been common knowledge that they do not want to hold SummerSlam at the Performance Center and now it seems like more planning is being done as a new plan is being developed.
The highly reputable WrestleVotes Twitter account has reported that WWE has a new plan to restart live programming. This plan will be starting with the SmackDown prior to SummerSlam and continuing through the weekend. Here is the tweet:
WWE’s new plan is to restart LIVE programming beginning w/ the SmackDown prior to SummerSlam, continuing throughout the weekend w/ the PPV & into RAW. Fans are still TBD. 1 location for all. Not certain on exact location as of yet.
NXT TakeOver will still take place in Orlando.
