There has been another update in the court case regarding the attempted kidnapping of WWE star Sonya Deville, real name Daria Berenato, on August 16.
As per Wrestling Inc, Deville’s temporary injunction against the accused Phillip Thomas II has been extended to at least November 12, which is the next court date.
Thomas is accused of attempted kidnapping at Deville’s home, and remains in jail charged with Aggravated Stalking, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Armed Kidnapping, and Criminal Mischief.
He had previously been denied a $2 million bail as the judge deemed him a threat to the community.
Sonya Deville lost a ‘loser leaves WWE’ match this past Sunday at SummerSlam to Mandy Rose, who was with her when the August 16 incident took place. It’s been reported that Deville isn’t leaving and is just taking time away.
The match was originally set to be a ‘hair vs hair’ match, which Deville was set to lose and have her hair cut for an acting role outside of WWE, but her lawyer advised against having it cut during an ongoing court case.
