Taking to Twitter, former World Heavyweight and WWE Champion Batista has spoken about his struggles with asthma and how it impacted him during his time as a professional wrestler.
Batista, who was set to be inducted into the 2020 Hall of Fame, revealed while commenting on a video of President Trump following his release from hospital that suffers with asthma:
I’m an asthmatic. That’s what i would look like if I was trying to hide that i was having an asthma attack. Well not all orange and bloated with a combover and a bad suit… but otherwise.. yeah. I recognize that struggle to breathe.
Batista later explained on Twitter that his asthma was so bad that he would have to hide inhalers under the ring in case he needed them. He noted that the colder venues particularly impacted his breathing:
I hid inhalers under the ring and with people working around the ring. I’m not kidding. The cold venues were my nightmare
This is not the only time that Batista has been in the news over the last week or so, as the actor recently revealed another of his major frustrations with his lacklustre WWE return in 2014. You can find out more about that by clicking here.
