The 2020 NJPW G1 Climax final is now set as the winners of both blocks have been crowned following the culmination of the B block today.
SANADA beat EVIL today, which equated to a three-way tie on points in block B between those two and Tetsuya Naito all with 12 points.
However, it’s SANADA who advances by virtue of the head-to-head rule having picked up wins over both EVIL and Naito previously in the tournament.
SANADA will face Kota Ibushi in the final after Ibushi won the A block with 14 points. Jay White, Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay were joint second with 12 points each.
The SANADA vs Ibushi final will take place on October 18 at the Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
