WWE Hall of Famer and former World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle has teased re-joining TNA on social media this weekend. This comes after Angle was released from his WWE deal earlier this year.
Kurt Angle posted an image of himself holding the TNA World Heavyweight Championship on Twitter yesterday. He accompanied the image with the following caption:
Show the world who you are and what you’re made of. Don’t talk about it. Just do it…. Period!!! #itstrue
It’s certainly interesting that Kurt Angle has teased going back to IMPACT Wrestling (formerly TNA). After leaving WWE in 2006, Angle went on wrestle for TNA, winning the promotion’s top title on two separate occasions.
It’s important to note that we aren’t reporting that Kurt Angle is definitely going to be returning to IMPACT Wrestling. No journalists have reported that there have even been talks between Angle and the promotion.
Speaking of WWE Hall of Famers, it has been reported that Vince McMahon “couldn’t care less” if fans don’t like to see Goldberg on WWE TV. You can read more about that interesting story by clicking here.
If Kurt Angle does move back to IMPACT Wrestling, it’s possible that he appears at Bound For Glory next Saturday night. WrestleTalk.com will be providing live coverage for the show, so make sure you check back for that.
