After Monday Night Raw went off the air last night, WWE Champion Randy Orton was stabbed in the eye with a pen by his long-time rival Drew McIntyre. The spot didn’t make it onto the broadcast for most viewers.
Fans watching in the US and in other countries around the world saw the show end with Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre fighting around ringside. However, it has emerged that those watching in Canada had a rather different ending to their show.
Those watching in Canada saw the camera keep rolling beyond the ringside brawl, where McIntyre managed to stab Randy Orton in the eye with a pen on the announce table to close out the post-Hell in a Cell show.
At this time, WWE has not acknowledged the indictment of posted it to their various social media platforms. At this time, it’s unclear why the decision was made to cut this from the US version of the show.
