He has not been seen in WWE in quite some time, and now you can no longer buy Sting merchandise on WWEShop.
This was confirmed by the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast led by Matt Cardona and Brian Myers. On Twitter, they said that due to circumstances out of their control, Sting was removed from the Legend Series 7 action figure line.
It’s NOT SSSTTTIIINNNGGG! “Due to circumstances out of our control Sting needed to be removed from Legends Series 7. We’ll look to include this figure in a future wave if he becomes available to us again.” pic.twitter.com/qUmHr8DEPH

Sting has not wrestled since Night of Champions 2015 when he suffered a neck injury against Seth Rollins. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016 where he announced his retirement. Since then he has made sporadic appearances for WWE, including his appearance at Ric Flair’s birthday celebration in 2019. As of May 2020, Sting is no longer under WWE contract.
The decision to remove Sting’s merch from WWEShop has led many to believe that he may appear at All Elite Wrestling’s Full Gear pay per view. Of course, this is merely speculation.
