More plans regarding the faction that’s in the works led by current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns have come to light.
As we saw on SmackDown, Jey Uso has pledged allegiance and aligned with Reigns. As per WrestlingNews.co, the plan is for both Usos to do this, and when they do, there will be some changes to their presentation.
Like Reigns, the Usos will wrestle shirtless as opposed to wearing their shirts as we’re used too. On top of that, the faction will be getting new music, meaning the Usos’ entrance theme will be replaced just like Reigns’ will.
A WWE source told the site: “This story is meant to elevate Roman but also to bring Jimmy and Jey up to the next level as well.”
Plans are for the Usos to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, which can obviously only happen when Jimmy is back from injury, which is expected to be January 2021.
The site also reports that everything involving Roman Reigns and the faction is already mapped out for the months ahead, and if fans have enjoyed the story so far, they’re likely to continue to. It was also noted that Vince McMahon is very much on board with the direction things are heading.
