One of the biggest winners of 2020 in wrestling has been Jey Uso. Since Roman Reigns became WWE Universal Champion at Payback, Uso has been one of the biggest stars on SmackDown. Now, Paul Heyman thinks he will take another step forward.
Heyman spoke on Talking Smack about how Uso will become a cross-branded superstar at Survivor Series. Here is the quote, courtesy of Fightful:
“No matter what happens amongst the other nine people in this match, Jey Uso is going to establish himself as a huge cross-branded superstar in WWE at Survivor Series, and if I may be so bold when it comes to family matters, Jey Uso better establish himself that way as well.”
Jey Uso is set to be part of the men’s Survivor Series team. He has shown a much more aggressive personality since Hell in a Cell and he used that aggression to defeat Daniel Bryan to qualify for Survivor Series.
This has been Uso’s first singles run in WWE since his debut alongside his brother Jimmy Uso in 2010. While they have become one of the best teams in WWE history, it will be fascinating to see how far Jey Uso can go as a singles star.
