The official viewership numbers for last night’s December 16 episodes of AEW Dynamite on TNT and WWE NXT on USA Network have been revealed.
As per Showbuzz Daily, AEW Dynamite this week drew an average of 806,000 viewers, which is down from last week’s 995,000.
NXT, on other hand, drew 766,000 viewers this week, and that’s up from 659,000 last week.
In the important 18-49 demographic, Dynamite got a 0.32 rating (down from 0.45), while NXT got a 0.19 rating (up from 0.17).
Both shows had announced big matches ahead of time, with AEW having Kenny Omega vs Joey Janela in a no DQ match, and NXT having Kyle O’Reilly vs Pete Dunne to determine Finn Balor’s next challenger.
