While appearing on WWE The Bump ahead of his match with Roman Reigns on the TLC pay-per-view last night, Kevin Owens opened up about being told that he would never make it in WWE.
The former Universal Champion opened up about the struggles he had to go through before even signing for WWE, including being told that he’d never make it in the company in the world:
“No, no. I think Roman is just doing what he needs to do to, you know, keep the title and to keep thinking that he’s this dominating and scary individual,” Kevin Owens stated. “I’ve gone through more humiliating things. I’ve been disrespected even worse than that for 15 years before I got to WWE.
“I heard that I wouldn’t make it, and I’m this, and I’m that, and I don’t look right. I’ve proved all of those guys wrong, so at TLC, I have no problem proving that to Roman either.”
Some were very worried about Roman Reigns getting injured last night during his match at TLC, with him being seen favouring his shoulder. You can check out the injury update courtesy of Fightful by clicking here.
