AEW Executive Vice Presidents and World Tag Team Champions the Young Bucks have revealed whether they pay attention the ‘ratings war’ with NXT.
In the first full year of the AEW/NXT battle, the former has come out on top more often than not, but is it something the Bucks actually care about?
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Matt Jackson said:
“Our fans, I’ve learned, are very loyal to us and no matter what is on we still have a good base, and they’re always going to watch at this point now that we’re a little over a year in. But yeah, we definitely pay attention to everything. You have to pay attention to everything because everything is competition.”
The Young Bucks won the AEW World Tag Team Title at Full Gear on November 7 from FTR.
They’ve since defended against the Hybrid2 and their defence against the Acclaimed that was taped last week airs on this Wednesday’s Dynamite.
