At the TLC pay-per-view on Sunday night, The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin) defeated New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) to capture the Raw Tag Team Championship.
However, this wasn’t the only accolade that The Hurt Business picked up over the weekend, as the group’s main leader MVP managed to win a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championship the day prior, as he revealed on social media.
MVP posted the following message and picture on Twitter earlier this week, revealing his pretty impressed accomplishment:
For the people that have been asking what medal I’m holding in this photo (below), let me inform you. On Saturday I won a Brazilian jiu-jitsu world championship competing in the IBJJF Masters tournament. The Hurt Business had an eventful weekend! Now you know.
MVP has been a real shining light for WWE in 2020. He originally returned to the company for a guest spot in the men’s Royal Rumble match, but has gone on to become a regular fixture on Raw alongside Lashley, Alexander and Benjamin.
