WWE has announced the winners of the 2020 Slammy Awards, the most prestigious awards in sports history.
Fans had the chance to vote for ‘The Best of Raw and SmackDown’ earlier this month. Now that the votes have been counted, WWE has revealed the winners of each category.
Male Superstar of the Year, and the overall award for Superstar of the Year went to Drew McIntyre. With two WWE Championship reigns and amazing matches with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and AJ Styles, it’s hard to dispute that 2020 was the Scotman’s year.

Sasha Banks won a Slammy Award for Female Superstar of the Year, with brilliant bouts against Asuka, and a jaw-dropping Hell in a Cell encounter with Bayley.
The Match of the Year Slammy was won by AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker’s Boneyard Match. This WrestleMania 36 match was Undertaker’s swan song, and one of the first cinematic matches of 2020, showing fans what could still be achieved during the pandemic era.
Speaking of The Undertaker, his ‘Final Farewell’ at Survivor Series won the Slammy Award for Moment of the Year. However you feel about the actual segment, seeing Undertaker grace the ring for possibly the last time truly made that moment the must-see.
