In the build-up to Survivor Series in November, we saw Liv Morgan defeat Chelsea Green, Tamina, and Natalya in a fatal four-way match to earn a spot on the SmackDown Women’s team for the five-on-five elimination match.
However, it has been reported that Chelsea Green was actually scheduled to win that match. However, the winner was changed to Liv Morgan after Chelsea Green broke her wrist during the early portion of the bout.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is now reporting Vince McMahon was unsure about the winner of the match.. Each of the four women was pencilled in as the winner at different stages:
As if the issues surrounding Chelsea Green’s debut couldn’t elicit any more news, we learned this week that after Green was injured, Vince McMahon was very indecisive about who the winner of the match should be. Originally scheduled to be Green, Vince called for Natalya, then Tamina to get the victory before landing on Liv Morgan.
