AEW star Kris Statlander has provided an update on how her recovery from injury is coming along having been out for about half a year.
Statlander suffered a torn ACL in June doing a dive to the outside, but she’s positive about her condition and it sounds like it’s going well.
Speaking with Pro Wrestling Junkies, she said:
“It’s going. It’s a very serious injury. I would say my knee is close to being healed, but it’s such an extensive and long recovery process to make sure I’m ready to go. Sometimes it takes people up to a year to get back, but it’s coming along for sure. I’m definitely pushing way harder than I need to be, but I do it because I know I’m going to come out stronger in the end.”
Statlander has been on some recent episodes of Being the Elite so it looks like she might not be out for too much longer, but hopefully it isn’t rushed and she does recover properly.
We continue to wish her all the best and a safe road to returning.
