WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks has reacted to her cousin Snoops Dogg’s splash on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite.
Snoop landed a splash on Serpentico on January 6 after Cody Rhodes had beaten Matt Sydal.
The splash wasn’t exactly perfect, but that was to be expected considering he’s not a wrestler, and as Chris Jericho put it, he’s a “human piece of spaghetti”.
Speaking with Complex Sports, Banks said:
“I saw him two weeks before he did it and he was talking how he wanted to do a splash. I wasn’t thinking the splash was going to look like that. He called me right after and cracked up laughing and asking if I was proud. I was like, ‘Dude, if you had fun, that’s all that matters.’ He couldn’t believe it. He’s so friggin’ tall. He was hella smooth. We’ve still got time [to train]. I wanna do matches with him and want him as my tag team partner for WrestleMania. We have time. I’ve got time to train him. That splash is going to be five stars.”
As of the latest word, there’s no heat on Snoop Dogg from WWE’s side for appearing on AEW TV. It’s not like he has a deal with WWE and it was just to promote the Go Big Show on TNT.
