A match many have assumed was going to happen has now been made official. Shaquille O’Neal and Jade will be taking on Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet on the March 3, 2021 edition of AEW: Dynamite.
This seemed like a match destined to take place on Revolution. Instead, it will be on Dynamite.
It seems AEW would rather try to pop a rating for the go-home show than increase buy rates for the pay-per-view. The thought process could be getting eyes on the go-home show might convince a few extras to pay for the show over the weekend.

Whatever the case, this doesn’t seem destined to be a 5-star classic. Shaq has barely any wrestling experience. Of course, neither of the women involved do either.
Shaq promoted the match and announced it on the NBA pre-game coverage on TNT. The official announcement took place on Dynamite tonight. WrestleTalk will have live coverage of the March 3 Dynamite as always.
