It’s Thursdays which means the viewership for NXT and AEW Dynamite has been revealed. This week’s shows were both up from last week although they still had to deal with competition from the news.
Showbuzz Daily has reported that All Elite Wrestling garnered 747,000 average viewers. Meanwhile, NXT managed to pull in 713,000 average viewers.
AEW’s number is up very slightly from last week, with an additional 6,000 viewers. NXT’s number is up much more significantly, scoring 155,000 more viewers than last week’s average of 558,000 viewers.
Dynamite continued to build towards the AEW Revolution pay per view. A number of new matches were announced on the show, including Matt Hardy vs. Hangman Page, Cody Rhodes vs. Scorpio Sky vs. Penta El Zero M, and Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley.
On NXT, we saw the fallout from NXT TakeOver Vengeance Day. Kyle O’Reilly demanded an answer from Adam Cole after Cole turned on his at TakeOver. It didn’t go well for O’Reilly as Cole brutally laid him out to end the show.
