The length of the current AEW contract of Chris Jericho has reportedly been revealed after he made headlines yesterday.
Chris Jericho broke the internet on Friday with the announcement that he’d be joining Steve Austin on Broken Skull Sessions on Peacock/WWE Network.
This opened up a lot of debate as to whether Jericho would ever go back to WWE, and naturally, at what point he’d theoretically be able to do so.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said:
“When his deal is up, which I believe is at the end of 2022, so it’s a ways away, but when it’s up, of course he should play both sides against the other. That’s what he should do. Some people think that’s a bad thing, but I think that’s a good thing and see what the market brings.”
The episode will air on Peacock/WWE Network on April 11. Steve Austin spoke about Vince McMahon’s reaction, which you can read about at this link.
