More behind the scenes details have been revealed surrounding the WrestleMania looks of both The Fiend and Alexa Bliss.
At WrestleMania 37, Randy Orton defeated The Fiend after a creepy distraction from Bliss. While the match received mixed reviews, the supernatural stars’ costumes were enjoyed by majority of fans.
Before the match, the burnt incarnation of The Fiend healed himself before wrestling in a “new” mask. During the distraction spot towards the end of the match, Alexa Bliss wore a headpiece that dripped black slime down her face.
Jason Baker was involved in the painting and on set sfx processes for the mask. He took to Twitter to reveal that legendary artist Tom Savini supervised both projects. Baker listed all the artists responsible for creating the mask and headpiece.

Project Supervisor Tom Savini and his team were key players in the creation of The Fiend’s original look. Designing the “head” lantern and Firefly Fun House puppets, Savini was responsible for bringing The Fiend’s horror-inspired aesthetic to life.
It has been reported that despite the many changes, the match at no point was planned to be a Firefly Fun House cinematic bout. You can read more about these changes here.
