Jinder Mahal returned to WWE television during the Main Event tapings last night, where he went one-on-one with fellow former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy.
Other than his physical return, what was notable was that Mahal is no longer aligned with The Bollywood Boyz, but debuted a new faction alongside former NXT stars Indus-Sher.
The last time Jinder Mahal was in action (Superstar Spectacle in January 2021), he actually teamed with the Bollywood Boyz to take on Drew McIntyre and Indus-Sher.
At this time, there is no word on whether or not WWE is planning on having Indus-Sher appear alongside Jinder Mahal on Monday Night Raw when the company decides to have him return.
WWE often trials out acts on Main Event before debuting them on Raw. Last year, the partnership of Jaxson Ryker and Elias was debuted on Main Event to gauge fan reaction, so this could just be another example of that.
