Production is well underway for WWE’s next video game WWE 2K22. With game design being a long and difficult process, it is nice to look at the more fun parts of putting the game together. In this case, the motion capture for the moves.
The WWE 2K22 development Twitter released a video of behind the scenes footage earlier today. In the video, former WWE star Lio Rush can be seen performing the various moves in full motion capture gear. Rush also responded to the tweet, saying it was fun and the moves will look insane in the game. Here is the tweet:

Lio Rush was one of the many WWE stars released by the company on April 15, 2020. He has since worked a number of matches for GCW, MLW, and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Not much is currently known about WWE 2K22. The tagline for the game is “it hits different”, but a release date has not been announced as of this writing.
