John Cena has been in the news quite a bit today (May 25) and WWE is reportedly not happy about it.
Cena posted a video apologizing to China for calling Taiwan a country in an interview. Considering China’s global political position, this has brought a lot of heat onto Cena on social media.
Now, Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast has reported that Cena’s apology is not going over well within WWE. He said:
“This John Cena apology is NOT going over well at WWE right now…”
Zarian has broken a number of major stories as of late, including NXT’s move to Tuesdays.
John Cena has not wrestled for WWE since WrestleMania 36 when he lost the Firefly Funhouse match to Bray Wyatt.
