Speaking on the latest Unrestricted podcast, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan confirmed the promotion will soon undergo a “huge expansion”.
Khan said the expansion is imminent and will include adding even more names to the active roster.
He didn’t mention specifics but did note that this comes ahead of the weekly Rampage show which debuts on TNT in August.
At that point, AEW will be presenting four weekly shows with Elevation (Mondays), Dark (Tuesdays), Dynamite (Wednesdays) and Rampage (Fridays).
Come the start of 2022, Dynamite and Rampage will be moving from TNT to TBS.
Continuing to expand the roster is an interesting decision as the promotion has been getting a little bit of stick lately for trying to feature so many people at the same time.
