Speaking on the Two Man Power Trip podcast, former WWE Superstar and trainer Dr. Tom Prichard opened up about how AEW star Christian Cage was perceived by people within WWE (then WWF) during his time in developmental.
Prichard noted that Christian Cage was known for having a very dry sense of humour. He went on to say that this meant that the former World Heavyweight Champion was often “misunderstood” and deemed to be a “d*ckhead”.
You can say something and be misperceived or misunderstood. It’s not uncommon. So yeah, he could be perceived as a d*ckhead sometimes, but who couldn’t?”
Prichard did go on to say that both Christian and Edge had tremendous work ethics, but also did want they needed to do to ensure that they weren’t seen to be pushovers by other members of the roster.
Christian is one of the featured participants in the Casino Battle Royale at AEW Double Or Nothing tonight which is available on pay-per-view in the US and FITE internationally.
