Paul Wight recently said he wants to wrestle Shaquille O’Neal. Now, Shaq has echoed that sentiment, saying he is going to work out and will be waiting for Wight.
Speaking with PopCulture, Shaq said he is looking forward to wrestling again. He also said he has heard Paul Wight talking trash and will be waiting for him after the Summer. Here is the quote, courtesy of Cageside Seats:
“I look forward to doing it again. I hear that Paul Wight’s still talking trash. So I’m gonna work out really hard this summer, and maybe we can do something very, very soon.
“Shouldn’t be any problems for us getting together now. Last time there was a lot of bureaucracy and red tape. Now there is no red tape…I’m still kind of sore from the table, so I’m gonna work out in the summer, pump these muscles up, and I’ll be waiting for you Mr. Paul.”
Shaq and Paul Wight have wrestled once in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32. A singles match between them has often been teased, but to this point has never come to fruition.
