During a commercial break for SmackDown, fans at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL were encouraged to “hulk up” like Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.
While the cameras weren’t rolling during last night’s (August 6) show, Hulk Hogan’s entrance theme, Real American, was played as the camera panned the crowd for fans performing Hogan’s signature taunt.
Kenny Majid took to Twitter to confirm the spot:

Hogan’s name has been controversial since racist remarks made by him surfaced in 2015. He was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 and has appeared for WWE on a number of occasions since.
The Hulkster hosted WrestleMania 37 earlier this year, alongside Warrior Award recipient Titus O’Neil. O’Neil also appeared during a dark segment on Friday’s show.
Last wrestling in November 2020, O’Neil had previously confirmed that he will return to the ring soon.
