The viewership figures for the September 29 edition of AEW Dynamite, featuring Sammy Guevara winning the TNT Title, have been revealed.
As per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite was watched by an average of 1.152 million viewers. This is down from the 1.273 million viewers who tuned in for Dynamite Grand Slam on September 22.
In the key 18-49 demographic, the show earned a 0.45 rating, which equates to 588,000 viewers from the demo. For comparison, this week’s edition of Raw received a 0.48 figure. Last Wednesday’s Dynamite Grand Slam also drew a 0.48 rating.
On the show, Sammy Guevara defeated Miro for the TNT Championship, ending Miro’s 140 day reign with the gold. In a backstage video, Guevara unveiled his new TNT Title design.
As per a new report, Guevara was tentatively planned to win the title during Grand Slam, but his victory was pushed back to the Rochester show.
