It has been announced that NJPW star Will Ospreay will make his Major League Wrestling (MLW) debut next month.
The ‘real’ IWGP World Heavyweight Champion will appear for the promotion at the November 6 show, currently billed as ‘MLW Imitation Games’.
The announcement was made during the MLW Fightland special which aired on Vice TV. MLW also took to Twitter to break the news:

Ospreay has been wrestling on NJPW Strong in the US recently. He hasn’t competed in Japan since his IWGP World Heavyweight Title defence against Shingo Takagi at Wrestling Dontaku in May.
Following the bout, Ospreay was forced to relinquish the gold due to injury, before Takagi defeated Okada to win the vacant title. Since Ospreay’s return at NJPW Resurgence in August, he has been refering to himself as the ‘real’ IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
Ospreay is set to appear for OTT during the promotion’s Seventh Anniversary Shows later this month. The NJPW star has also been announced for the upcoming Chris Jericho Cruise, which takes place on October 21-25.
