UPDATE: It’s now been revealed that AEW Rampage beat WWE SmackDown in the 18-49 demo in the 30-minute head-to-head.
The viewership figures for the October 15 AEW Rampage and WWE SmackDown have been revealed.
AEW Rampage garnered 578,000 total viewers, up from the 502,000 they drew the week before. SmackDown topped them with 866,000 viewers on FS1.
AEW and WWE tied in the key 18-49 demographic, each producing a 0.24 rating, and in the 18-34 male demographic with a 0.20 rating.
AEW did beat WWE in the 18-49 male demographic scoring a 0.34 rating to WWE’s 0.32 rating.
This episode of SmackDown was dubbed “Supersized SmackDown” with an extra half hour of content.
The show featured a number of long matches including great bouts between The Usos and Street Profits, and Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.
AEW Rampage added a one-hour Buy In prior to the start of the show. The Buy In featured the most talked about match of the night as Bryan Danielson battled Minoru Suzuki.
CM Punk also wrestled Matt Sydal on Rampage, while Ricky Starks defended the FTW title against Brian Cage in the main event.
