WWE has announced a double championship match for the upcoming NXT New Year’s Evil special episode of NXT 2.0.
On tonight’s show (December 21), Malcolm Bivens and Diamond Mine challenged NXT North American Carmelo Hayes to a match against NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong, with both titles on the line.
Later in the show, Carmelo Hayes accepted Bivens’ challenge, and said that he would be the one leaving with both the championships.
This is the third confirmed match for the show, with an NXT Championship match and NXT Women’s Championship match also confirmed on tonight’s show.
