WWE recently announced that NXT Stand & Deliver will take place during WrestleMania week, ahead of the Show of Shows. The exact date of the special will officially be revealed in the coming weeks.
PWInsider reports that the special is currently planned for April 2, the same day as the first night of WrestleMania 38. The preliminary plan involves NXT Stand & Deliver airing as a matinee event between 12 – 3 PM EST, ahead of WrestleMania in the evening. PWInsider stressed that these plans could change between now and the final announcement.
There is currently no word on the venue for the NXT special.
Last year, NXT hosted two nights of ‘TakeOver: Stand & Deliver’, on April 7-8. The event took place before the brand’s reboot, so was Black & Gold themed.
