Other Notable Stats

  • Brock Lesnar becomes the fourth man to win from the #30 spot, which means it now ties #27 as the “lucky number” for the men
  • Ronda Rousey won from #28, the same number as Becky Lynch in 2019, meaning that’s now the “lucky number” for the women
  • That also means #28 has had four in total if you combine men and women, so combined, #30, #28 and #27 are all tied at four winners
  • Dolph Ziggler hit 15 Royal Rumble match appearances which is the second most of all time, behind Kane at 18 (20 if you count his Fake Diesel and Isaac Yankem gimmicks)
  • Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton both hit 14 this year to make them joint third place
  • The women’s Rumble lasted 59:40, while the men’s lasted 51:10
  • Charlotte Flair became the first woman to ever be the runner-up in two Rumbles
  • Brock Lesnar winning after only being in the match for 02:23 is an all-time record for the shortest route to victory
  • Charlotte Flair’s five eliminations give her 15 all-time, which is now the most of any woman, overtaking Shayna Baszler’s 14
  • Having won his first Rumble in 2003, Brock Lesnar broke the record for most years between Rumble wins at 19, which was previously held by Triple H at 14
  • Bianca Belair has now been the “iron-woman” (longest time) for three consecutive Rumbles
  • Despite that, Charlotte Flair now has the record for total cumulative time in women’s Rumble matches at 2:22:30
  • AJ Styles’ 29:06 is the first time since John Cena in 2010 that the “iron-man” has been less than 30 minutes
  • The ‘big four’ OVW alumni – Randy Orton, Batista, John Cena and Brock Lesnar – have now all won two Royal Rumbles each
  • Carmella, Dana Brooke, Tamina, Liv Morgan and Natalya are the only names to have competed in all five women’s Royal Rumble matches to date
