WWE Raw star Shelton Benjamin took to Twitter today (March 19) to debunk fake reports that he had been released by WWE.
The “report” in question is fake tweet designed to look like it was from WWE, claiming that five current WWE stars had been released, which included Shelton’s name.
The image must have gained enough traction for Shelton to issue a response to it, debunking the reports while also doing what he does best, dragging Mia Yim.
He said:
I have not been released from WWE. I obviously don’t know where this false report started (probably @MiaYim) but for those that cared thank you but at this time your concerns are premature.
Apparently this is what people do to entertain themselves nowadays, which is a really weird way to spend your time.
